What I'm Working On

 

I have some lovely little Babydoll style dresses in the works for the Neo Blythe girls :) I just need to add some snap closures and embellishments and they will be ready for the shop :)

Current Works In Progress

 

I'm currently working on some Day of the Dead themed dresses and also, some fine wale corduroy skirts.  The skirts will be sold individually and should be great for layering with your wardrobe favorites for this fall/winter season :)

A Few New Fabrics :)

 

I got a few new fabrics today and also replenished some fabrics I ran out of :) Love all the colors of these fabrics!

Making Miniatures

 

I'm making some Halloween miniatures out of polymer clay and having so much fun!!! I did these this week but, had made some very much like this last year too.  I am thinking to offer some candles and pumpkin sets in my Etsy shop :)

Working on the New Girl :)

 

Last night I was working on this little lady.  I had originally named her Lacy and had intentions of doing a cooler color palette to her face. But, I've decided that I want to do warm Autumn tones to go with her mohair.  I wanted her little freckles to just blend off into her blush and I think it's looking good.  I just need to do her lips....then we start the mohair reroot.  Her new name is Pumpkin :)

Special Order---Halloween Dress for Alice Cherry Blossom

 

I just finished part of a Special Order for the Alice Cherry Blossom BJD.  This dress is one that I make for the Blythe sized girls but, scaled down really well for the ACBs :) I call it Graveyard at Twilight.  I really love this fabric!

The New Girl, Lacy Phacelia

 

A new Susie arrived the other day! She's going to fit in great with my growing Susie gang.  She's going to be getting a mohair reroot (her hair is missing plugs and is really thin so, she's a good candidate for a reroot, also her scalp is very pliable) and also I will be adding a bit of color to her face-up

BlytheCon Pics ( Just A Few)

 

Seattle was Amazing!!!! I met so many wonderful people and had such an amazing experience.  The BlytheCon Staff were such a wonderful crew and there was just a lot of love in that Fisher Pavilion that day <3

 

BlytheCon is almost Here!!!!!! I am sooooooo excited!!!!!

 

Middie Muchkin Costumes for BlytheCon Seattle!

 

The costumes are finished (just in time too) and they will be available for people to use for photos at BlytheCon.  I will have three sets of each the Lullaby League and Lollipop Guild for use in photos, and three of each sets for sale.  I will also have two or three Oz themed dresses for sale.  100% of my sales will be donated to chosen charities of the BlytheCon which are  Northwest Harvest and The Seattle Animal Shelter.

 

I'm so excited to meet everyone and I hope you all love this Photo Stage and the costumes.  It should make for some really great pictures to remember this event.

Today we are making rainbows and piggy dresses for BlytheCon! I'm so excited! I'm also super excited to be able to visit the Chihuly Exhibition Hall.  I have admired that mans work for so many years.  This is going to be an awesome 40th birthday event for me :)

Today's Sewing

 

Today's sewing is some really fun dresses with lots of color!

The top dress in the pic is done in a reproduction Feed Sack print and the bottom dress is done in a really fun Tootsie Pop print....It has the owl from the old commercials....so cute :)

I'm hoping to have these done and listed in the next few days :)

 

Getting Geared Up for BlytheCon Seattle!!!!! So Excited Because It's Getting So Close!!!

Hi Everyone! I am so excited to go to BlytheCon Seattle and it's getting so close to the date! This photo stage I something that I have made for everyone to use as a cute photo op for dolly pictures.  I also have made a set of donation dresses for the Con.  I hope to meet and see a lot of my Blythe peeps there.. I know this is going to be such an awesome time for all who are going! I'll be sure to post lots of pics!
